WKTJ broadcasted the event live on the radio, interviewing many happy vendors and spectators, and announcing door prizes and give-aways every hour. The 4H Club held a cake decorating contest in celebration of the 100th anniversary of 4H. Everyone was a winner when the cakes were cut and given away after the judging! The Sandy River Ramblers performed a concert at noon, while folks ate lunch in the bright, new food court area of the high school, enjoying the food prepared by Bradley’s Pizza.
The Chamber would like to thank all the businesses that supported the show this year, especially our “Platinum Partners,” Franklin Savings Bank, Care and Comfort, WKTJ, and Turner Publishing. Also to the Mt. Blue High School and UMF for the use of their facility and equipment. Many hours were dedicated by the Home and Show Committee chaired by Glenn Kapiloff who wishes to specifically thank the community members who pitched in to help: Bill Berry, Greg Davis, Ray Therrien and Beckie Bowering. Thanks to everyone!
