AUBURN — Charles Reynolds, 82, of Auburn, passed away at his home on Monday, March 25.

He was born in Lewiston, July 8, 1930. He lived his entire life in the New Gloucester – Auburn area. He was married for more than 60 years to Theresa (Bosse). They worked and raised their young family in New Gloucester.

He worked for several years at the New Gloucester Public Works Department and then went on to work at Kiley’s Excavation as a heavy equipment operator.

Charles was a past member of the Auburn Baptist Church. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, cutting wood and hunting. He could always be found in his garage working on trucks, cars and tinkering on anything that needed to be fixed.

Charles is survived by his wife, Theresa; a daughter, Sharon Seamon and husband, Alan, of Turner; stepdaughter, Theresa Schmieks and husband, Barry Schmieks Sr.; four grandchildren, Gary Reynolds Jr., Barry Schmieks Jr. and wife, Marjorie, Kristina Schmieks and Krystal Reynolds; eight great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Mary Bosse; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Gary Charles Reynolds; great-grandson, Dalton Jaxx Reynolds; his sister, June Emery; and his brothers, Ed and George Reynolds.
