AUBURN — Marlene Wendy Carr, 74, of Auburn, passed away on March 27.

Marlene was born to Herbert and Averyl (Futter) Goldsmith in Norfolk, UK, Oct. 7, 1938. She had six siblings, Averyl, Shirley, Greta, Heather, Girvan and Selwyn.

She came to America with her sister, Shirley when she was 19, where she started a family, had two sons, Stephen and Michael and married Gordon Carr. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing Bingo. She loved cats and will be remembered for her beautiful smile and kind heart. She will forever remain in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her family would like to thank the staff at the Hospice House and Marshwood Center for their care and support the past several weeks.

There will be no service held at this time.
