AUGUSTA — Milton R. Seekins, 80, of Waterville, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, at the Maine Veterans’ Home.

He was born in Palmyra, April 10, 1932, son of Donald and Thelma (Mathews) Seekins. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He worked many years in the shoe industry as a stitching room machinist.

Milton was a member of the American Legion. He loved hunting, fishing and fixing antique radios. He liked playing pool and spending time at camp in Hartland on Indian Pond.

He is survived by his son, Robert Seekins and wife, Paula, of Winslow; and two grandchildren, Lorie Seekins of Vassalboro and Kelly Pelletier of South China.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann (Macsarko) Seekins, who passed away in 1995.
