RUMFORD — Funeral services for Arland Richard Burgess Sr. were held 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin Street Rumford, with Fr. Robert Vaillancourt officiating. Musical selections were “Amazing Grace” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Readings were given by Rick and Robin Burgess. Prayer of the Faithful was recited by Nicole and Ryan Burgess. Heather and Amy Burgess recited poems. Eulogy was given by Granddaughter Crystal Burgess. Interment later in the spring will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed at the American Legion in Rumford.
