1950 – 2013
AUBURN — Warren “Tasty” Boyd, 63, of Lewiston, died April 2, at the Hospice House, surrounded by Mary Kay Marston, Milene Cyr and Judy Wills.
He was born Feb. 8, 1950, to the late Lorraine Chepren and George H. Boyd, in Waltham, Mass.
He was a Vietnam veteran, as well as a Reiki master with a degree in metaphysics. Boyd was a member of the 12 Hour Club and the Fifth Chapter Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, cribbage and helping others.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Boyd, 17; and his former wife, Diana Boyd of Iowa. Other surviving family members include Virginia Eldridge, Phyllis Mitchell, George Boyd, Robert Boyd, Ronald Chepron, Jeanie Vashaw and John Chepron, along with many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as an active member of AA, achieving 24 years of sobriety. Warren will be missed for his jokes, his love of cribbage and his wisdom and honesty — but most of all for who he was as a friend.
