LEWISTON — Kevin Lewis, CEO of Maine Community Health Options, announces that Deidre DeRoche has joined the organization as an outreach and education specialist. MCHO is a nonprofit that will provide affordable health insurance to Maine people and small businesses beginning in January 2014.

DeRoche has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. She has served as network representative at Martin’s Point Healthcare, provider relations manager at Medical Network, and short-term disability analyst at Aetna. Her experiences in the field of health care make her well-suited for her new role, in which she will assist in MCHO’s statewide outreach and education efforts.

DeRoche is a native of Scarborough and a lifelong resident of Maine.
