FARMINGTON — A roof window of a greenhouse at Mt. Blue High School was broken after something struck it, school resource officer Bridgette Gilbert said Wednesday.
It looks like a blunt object was thrown at the 2- by 3-foot window, she said. The glass was cracked in a spider-web fashion. There was no hole in the window.
The greenhouse is attached to the end of the new two-story classroom wing that opened for students in August 2012. The greenhouse faces Seamon Road. It is used as part of the instructional program.
RSU 9 maintenance workers reported the vandalism to Gilbert, a member of the Farmington Police Department, at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday when they discovered it.
The incident is under investigation.
