JAY — A memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Catherine “Kay” Larochelle was held Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Church with the Rev. Thomas Lequin officiating. The opening hymn was a recording by her late nephew, Jerry Ouellette, singing the “Our Father.” The St. Rose Choir offered in music tribute the hymns “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Be Not Afraid” and “Ave Maria.” A memorial honor guard was provided by two of her favorite organizations the Daughters of Isabella and the Frank L. Mitchell VFW Auxiliary 10. Following Mass, all were welcome to attend a comfort reception at the parish hall, where a video tribute, honoring Kay’s life, was shown for family and friends. Spring committal services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Livermore Falls. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Centers: Cremation Service and Funeral Home.
