RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Dorothy Chenard was celebrated Tuesday April 9, at 10 a.m. at the Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Robert Vaillancourt was the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “You Raise Me Up,” and “Fly Like A Bird.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Lindy Rothfarb. The New Testament was proclaimed by Monica Chenard. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Barbara DeSalle. Offertory Gifts were presented by Catherine Briggette and Gregory Chenard. Personal reflections were shared by Carol Tremblay. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee Brown, Kenny Briggette, Tish Coolidge, Dave Rothfarb, BJ Broader, and Monica Tremblay. A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
