LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday for Raymond M. Dube at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at the Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Lionel Chouinard officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The scripture reading was presented by Sara Caron, the profession of faith was read by Kara Godin and the gifts were presented at the altar by Danny, Jerry and Jimmy Dube. Words of remembrance were shared by Steven Godin, expressing words written by his mother, Cheryl Godin and Brian Dube shared words written by Amanda Whippo. Bearers were Lisa Burdick, Jennifer Dube, Samantha Walker, Craig Caron, Steven Godin, Brian Dube and John Whippo. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program.
