KENT, Conn. — Georgette V. Lavoie, 90, formerly of Lewiston, died Wednesday, April 17, at the Kent Specialty Care Center, where she had been a resident for the past eight years.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 6, 1923, the daughter of Benjamin and Emelie Beaucage Cliche. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School. In 1944, she was married to Bertrand R. Lavoie, who passed away in 1967.
A member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, she is survived by three daughters, Janet and husband, John Inness, of Rochester, N.Y., Claire Lavoie and husband, Kenney Bassett, of North Hero, Vt., and Suzanne Lavoie and partner, Jay Przygocki, of Washington, Conn.; two sons, Donald and wife, Laurene, of Sewickley, Pa., and Daniel and wife, Agnes, of Bayonet Point, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
