Maine Premier Golf
AUBURN — If you know a junior golfer who loves the game of golf and is interested in continuing to learn at an advanced level with PGA Professional Instructors, Maine Premier Golf is the program for them.
Maine Premier Golf (MPG) is a collaborative program developed by Brian Bickford, PGA Professional at Val Halla Golf Club, and Nick Glicos, PGA Director of Golf & Co-Owner of Martindale Country Club. The program fills the void that exists in junior golf development from the early stages through the teen years. Golf Clinics are an excellent introduction to the basics, but Maine Premier Golf will work throughout the entire season to help juniors continue learning and improving.
Junior Divisions (Co-Ed): (Restricted to 8 Juniors Maximum Per Division) Ages 10-12, Ages 13-14, Ages 15-17
To be eligible for the program, juniors must be currently playing some competitive golf on a regular basis and be a minimum of 10 years old. The program is open to Boys & Girls in each division. Weekly practice times will be scheduled as to not interfere with Spring/Summer Sports Schedules. Home and away events will be scheduled during the golf season at no additional charge. The program runs from late May through August.
