WATERFORD — There will be a prekindergarten and kindergarten registration and screening for incoming Waterford and Harrison students in May.

Registration and screening for fall classes at Waterford Elementary School will be held Thursday, May 23, for prekindergarten students and Tuesday, May 28, for kindergarten students. Children who will be 4 years old as of Oct. 15, 2013, can register for prekindergarten. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2013, are eligible to attend kindergarten.

Parents are encouraged to contact the Waterford Elementary School office immediately to make an appointment for registration. Appointments will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents should be prepared to give their child’s name, birth date, home address and phone number. On registration day, parents must present a copy of the child’s official birth certificate, a copy of the immunization record and a copy of the child’s most recent physical exam.
