April Kid’s Belt Promotion

Students and families gathered recently at Phoenix Academy of Martial Arts in Auburn for its monthly belt promotion ceremony. Students in the kids program tested for various ranks each demonstrated their requirements in Basic techniques, Kata (memorized patterns of self defense), anti-bully defense and general set self defense requirements. Students who tested that day also had received approval to test from their parents and school teacher indicating that they are always striving to do their best both in and out of the dojo (karate school).
