FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. — Leonard M. Custer of Flagler Beach, Fla., passed away on April 18.
He was born May 23, 1942, to the late Frederick and Dorothea Custer in Portsmouth, N.H. He graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1960. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked at GTE Sylvania in Exeter. N.H., then worked at Philips Elmet in Lynn, Mass., and Lewiston.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eileen (Senderak) Custer; his daughters, Lisa LaBatte and her husband, Dennis, Michelle Custer and her husband, David Reid and Kathleen Custer; son, Stephen Custer and his wife, Devin; his grandchildren, Nicole and Eric LaBatte, Daphne and Max Reid, Kolby and Tanner Pitman and Delia and Audrey Custer; his brothers, James Custer, Fred Custer and Melvin Custer; a sister, Judith Conway; and many nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony was held in Flagler Beach, Fla.
