LIVERMORE FALLS — On April 15 the Tri Town Seniors met at Murray Hall with Fernande Doiron presiding. The meeting opened with the usual ceremony, followed by George Doiron singing “Annie’s Song” for the group. The group remembered Marguerite Richardson who passed away last week.
Theresa Bilodeau was welcomed back after a few weeks of absence.
In old business, a reminder was made that on April 29 the group will hold a Chinese auction and refreshments of root beer floats will be served. Marily DeSoto, Aurelien Couture and Diane Getz are on the refreshments committee that week. The by-law committee will meet to review the part of the by-laws in regards to donations for deceased members.
On May 20, the annual barbecue will be held for the last meeting of the season. If you know what you want to bring give your names to Carole Redman or Pat Laverdiere. Nancy Couture will be making the Memorial Cake for dessert.
In new business, on May 6 Nancy Couture will bring the birthday cake for the May celebrants.
The 50/50 this week was won by Marlene Newhall. Door prizes donated by Georgia Hersey, Ellie Mitchell and Fernande Doiron were won by Marilyn DeSoto, Janet Wright, Nancy Couture and Fernande Doiron.
Following the meeting refreshments served by Joyce Richard, Donna Cook and Georgia Hersey were enjoyed by all.
