WILTON — The next Passport Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Wilson Grange, Main Street, East Wilton.

The theme will be the 139th Run for the Roses, the Kentucky Derby.

Members are putting together a festive evening featuring a Derby inspired menu including mint julep punch, Benedictine dip with veggies, Kentucky burgoo stew, hot brown quiche and a Trifecta dessert including pecan tarts, mint julep cupcakes and a winner’s circle cake complete with rosette.

The staff is planning on “getting into the spirit” so feel free to attend with your finest derby attire. Jockeys, groomers or spectators are all welcome.

As always dinner will be $12 and reservations are a must.

The decorating crew is attempting to create the first Tyngtown Racetrack. A $2 entry fee could find you in the winner’s circle holding the prize purse.

To make reservations or for more information, call 645-3676 or email wilsongrange@gmail.com. When making reservations feel free to remind organizers of any special considerations, like a vegetarian option.
