CARTHAGE — In a Mother’s Day concert tribute to Mac McHale, New England Celtic Arts will present former band mates and guest performers at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 12, at Skye Theatre Performing Arts Center.

The

Tribute Band has been formed in remembrance of Allan ‘Mac’ McHale, who played appellation, gospel, traditional Irish and old-time radio music in his 65-year career to thousands of people from Colorado to Canada and Maine to Florida. McHale passed away in November 2012 at the age of 80.

There is a pre-show jam session 45 minutes prior to curtain. Audience members are encouraged to bring their instruments and jam with the artists for a few minutes..
