WALES — Michael Bryant scored on a wild pitch in the eigth inning to lift St. Dom’s to a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Oak Hill in more KVAC baseball action Monday.

Bryant led the Saints (4-0) with an RBI double in the sixth frame that sparked a three-run rally. The Raiders (2-2) led 2-0 after two innings yet lost their momentum shortly after.

Spruce Mountain 7, Carrabec 3

JAY —  Lucas Preble hurled five innings of solid baseball and drew ample run support as Spruce Mountain hustled to a 7-3 win over Carrabec in MVC baseball action Monday.

Brandon Hodges led the Phoenix (3-2) with three hits and two RBIs, while Scottie Hall drove in two runs on two hits. Hall ripped an RBI double in the second frame to spark a three-run rally.

The Cobras (1-3) were led by Brandon Leahy with three hits and one RBI, while Tucker Atwood also belted out three hits.

Mtn. Valley 13, Madison 3

RUMFORD —  Adam Volkernick gave up just five hits and helped his own cause at the plate as Mountain Valley overpowered Madison 13-3 in another MVC baseball tilt Monday. 

Volkernick led the Falcons (2-2) with three hits, highlighted by a home run in the third that put his team ahead to stay. Colin Merrill also contributed with three hits in a well-balanced attack.

Cony 10, Edward Little 0

AUGUSTA —  Thomas Foster held his opponent to three hits and drew ample run support as Cony overwhelmed Edward Little 10-0 in a KVAC tilt Monday.

Tyler Tardiff led the Rams (3-2) with three hits and three RBIs, while Keith Cloutier and Taylor Carrier each drove in two runs on a pair of hits.

Nate Pushard led the Red Eddies (1-4) with two hits. Pushard also worked the mound for five frames and suffered the loss.

Oxford Hills 6, Erskine 3

PARIS — Jordan Croteau’s RBI double in the second frame sparked a four-run rally as Oxford Hills pulled away to post a 6-3 win over Erskine Monday.

Erskine (1-4) jumped out to a 1-0 advantage in the first inning before the Vikings (5-1) got their offense revved up. Ryan Godin worked the first five innings and picked up the mound win.

John Suga belted a two-run homer in the third inning for Erskine to make it a 5-3 contest.

Lewiston 3, Brunswick 2

BRUNSWICK — Nick Perreault belted an RBI triple in the fifth inning to give Lewiston a 3-2 victory over Brunswick.

Mike Wong led the Blue Devils (5-1) with two hits and one RBI. Eric Soucy also contributed with an RBI double.

The Dragons (1-5) received two hits each from Peter Wild and Chris Lowell.

Poland 7, Lake Region 1

BRIDGTON — Lukas Johnson hurled five solid innings and helped his own cause Monday as Poland hustled to a 7-1 win over Lake Region in more local baseball action.

Johnson allowed just one earned run on three hits and two walks during his time on the mound. He also smashed a two-run homer in the fifth to propel his team to victory.

Mike Mageles went the distance for Lake Region (1-4) and was tagged with the loss.

Winthrop 9, Lisbon 1

WINTHROP — Jared Hanson threw a four-hitter and Dakota Carter drove in three runs to lead Winthrop to a 9-1 victory over Lisbon in MVC baseball action on Monday.

Hanson scattered four hits and three walks while striking out four to pick up the complete game win for the Ramblers (3-0). He also joined Carter with two hits, including a double, to lead the offense.

Kyle Sheehan led the Greyhounds (2-4) with two hits, while Joe Philbrick drove in the lone Lisbon run with a sacrifice fly.
