NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE and the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce are offering a free workshop, Social Media Marketing Made Simple. The program will be presented from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St.

Topics covered during the workshop include: What social media really is and why it should be used; an overview of social media and how to determine which of the most popular channels are right for a business; how small businesses and organizations are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships and drive sales and response; strategies to create good content for social media marketing campaigns; how to incorporate social media marketing into a business day without loosing productivity; and how to balance social media marketing with email marketing and other marketing efforts.

Tracy O’Clair, owner of TOCmedia, a social media and email marketing service provider, will be the presenter. O’Clair is also the host of Social Media Breakfast Central Maine and an authorized local expert for Constant Contact. She spends the majority of her time marketing, promoting and branding.
