LEWISTON — Albert A. Michaud, 85, a long-time resident of Greene, passed away Tuesday, April 30, at the Marshwood Center.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1927, in Lewiston, son of the late George and Eugenie Jean Michaud. He was educated in Lewiston schools and served his country in the U.S. Army. Albert was married June 11, 1949, to Lorraine C. Albert, who predeceased him on Oct. 7, 2003.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a slasher tender at Bates Manufacturing. Albert was a long-time member of St. Francis Church in Greene. He enjoyed gardening and playing cards with his family.
Albert is survived by three sons, Reynold “Rey” Michaud and wife, Venida, of New Gloucester, Maurice Michaud and wife, Madeline, of Hillsborough, N.H., and Daniel Michaud of Lunenburg, Mass.; four grandchildren, Rachelle Keller and husband, Ari, Sean Michaud and fiancee, Nicole Lapointe, Lorraine Veilleux, and Faith Picard; and eight great-grandchildren, Robert and Jesse Truitt, Kalan and Malia Clark, Josiah, Levi, Hannah and Mica Keller.
