HALLOWELL — Freshly back from Hollywood, Maine filmmaker Chris Walters and his team at Chris Walters Productions are ready to take on the Maine film scene. He will premier his re-mastered film, Jim Jones Juice at the 2nd annual Jim Jones Juice Traveling Extravaganza at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at Maple Hill Farm’s event center.

Jim Jones Juice is a psychedelic comedy that tells the story of a well-to-do attorney who accidentally drinks the magical Jim Jones Juice and embarks on a journey of wild hallucinations and self-discovery.

The first Jim Jones Juice Traveling Extravaganza had over 150 people attending the event during a snowstorm and Walters said this will be bigger and better than last year. This year’s event will feature performances from local artists Sam Shain and the Scolded Dogs, Loc Da American Bulldog and The Band Apollo.

The event, at 11 Inn Road, will also showcase local artwork and an appearance by Hallowell Mayor Charlotte M. Warren. The show is an all-ages event but there is a cash bar. Tickets are available at the door for $15.
