MEXICO — The Mexico Police Department responded to 35 incidents over the last week. Among the incidents are the following:

Thefts:

*At 10:51 a.m. May 5, police received a report that a dirt bike had been stolen from Casey’s Auto Sales on Roxbury Road. At 6 p.m., the owner reported that he found the dirt bike in the woods. Lt. Roy Hodsdon of the Mexico Police Department said that police are still looking for a suspect.

*At 11:47 a.m. May 2, Dyer’s Electronics on Main Street reported that some time in the previous hour, someone walked up to the display in front of the store and stole a remote-controlled helicopter, which was valued at $60. Hodsdon said that police have no suspects, adding that remote control helicopters are “pretty rare” and for residents to let police know if they see one in use.

Accidents:

*At 7:56 a.m. May 2, Andrew Kennedy, 65, of Mexico was traveling north on Roxbury Road in a 2003 Ford pickup truck when a deer struck the left side of the vehicle. The deer rolled onto the hood before smashing into the driver’s side of the windshield and rolling over the roof of the truck. Kennedy’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene. The deer survived and ran west towards the Swift River.

Assaults:

*An 18-year-old Mexico resident reported on May 1 that while he was riding his bike on Dix Avenue, he was assaulted by a male. Hodsdon said that police currently have a suspect.
