The storyline follows a madcap dash around the world as the precise Phileas Fogg, Esquire, and his trusty French sidekick, Passepartout, attempt to circumnavigate the globe in 80 days or less. That was not an easy feat in 1872, the setting of the story, as the only modes of transportation were steamer, rail and … elephant? Fogg’s life and fortune are all on the line, and his every step is dogged by Detective Fix of Scotland Yard, who is sure that Fogg is a notorious bank robber on the lam. Danger, romance, and comic surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as seven young actors portraying 39 characters traverse the continents in Mark Brown’s new slapstick adaptation of one of the greatest adventures of all time.

The show will be performed at the Hosanna Church, Schoolhouse Road. Tickets sold at the door. $6/adults, $4/students. Children 3 and under are free. Concessions will be sold at intermission. Doors open half an hour early and seating is general admission.
