PARIS — It is that time of year when the local Rotary and Kiwanis clubs join forces for a weekend of “FUN’draising. This year the Rotary Auction will be held on Saturday, July 13.

The Rotary is seeking donations of good quality, clean, new and used items for the auction.

Residents or businesses who would like to make a donation and need to schedule a pick-up should contact Curtis Cole at 461-3380 or Chris Summers at 577-8476.

The Kiwanis Flea Market will be held Saturday and Sunday July 13 and 14. The new format this year will have spaces available for rent to vendors and/or individuals to sell their own items and treasures.

For more information, contact Mary Ann Brown at 674-2962. Every year the donations received from the community enable the clubs to sponsor programs free to the community, including Kiwanis Bike Rodeo and Rotary May Day Play Day.

Other programs sponsored by the clubs include Right Start, OHCHS Students of the Month, scholarships, Project Graduation and others.
