BATH — Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District, Maine Forest Service and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust are partnering sponsors offering a Best Management Practices workshop at Bath City Hall Auditorium on Tuesday, May 21.

Anyone interested in learning about simple techniques to protect water quality on timber harvests is welcome. Registrations will begin at 8 a.m. After some class time, there will be a site visit to a nearby timber harvest. Coffee will be available and participants should bring a bag lunch. Continuing education credits will be given for certified loggers attending this workshop.
