RUMFORD —   A Mass of Christian Burial for Laura Glenfield Legere of Dedham, Mass., and formerly of Rumford, was celebrated Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m., at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius —   St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Nicholas Puiia III. Music selections included “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Be Not Afraid,” and “Unless A Grain of Wheat.” Readings were given by Barbara Doherty. The eulogy was given by her daughter, Jane Dacey. The gifts were presented by her granddaughters Jamie Diamond and Leslie Chavez. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Alfred Jacques. Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Rumford. A reception followed at the Bethel Inn in Bethel. Arrangements were under the care of the MEADER  &  SON  FUNERAL  HOME, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford.
