AUBURN — Maine Spinecare, 690 Minot Ave., announces that Dr. Matthew McLaughlin will join the practice in May.

McLaughlin, a physiatrist, specializes in the nonsurgical management of spinal disorders and pain.

McLaughlin is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management and electrodiagnostic medicine. He joins Maine Spinecare from Wellington Orthopaedics in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he has practiced since 2001. In December 2012, Cincy Magazine featured McLaughlin on its cover as one of Cincinnati’s top doctors.

According to McLaughlin, physiatrists take a holistic, multidimensional approach to care.
