William J. Rogers Post 153, American Legion, places flags on veterans’ graves just before Memorial Day. The post adopted the Plains Road Cemetery, Route 4, last year, adding another 31 flags to be placed. Legion members and residents are welcome to meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the post, 71 South Main St., New Auburn, to assist in putting the flags on graves.
