LEWISTON — Roger George Pepin, 67, passed peacefully on May 12, at the hospice house with his loving family at his side.

He was born Dec. 27, 1945, to Dominic and Marie (Marcoux) Pepin. He attended Holy Family school and Lewiston High School. He was the captain of his baseball and football teams.

He served in the U.S. Navy in 1963. He worked as a lumberjack and also owned and operated a custodial cleaning business.

He loved the outdoors; hiking, biking, motorcycling and camping. He also enjoyed music and reading philosophy with family and friends. He enjoyed fitness and working out.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline of Lewiston; brothers, Larry and Richard of Lewiston and Marc and wife, Bonnie, of Buckfield; sister, Elise of Lewiston; sons, Roger and wife, Theresa of Auburn, Kerry of Lisbon and Nathan of Litchfield; daughters, Tina of Auburn, Laura of Norway and Desiree; his African Grey bird named Puppy; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Marie (Marcoux) Pepin; son, Aron; and brother, Albert.

He will be sadly missed and never forgotten.
