LEWISTON — Suzan R. Gagnon, 64, a resident of Spring Street, Lewiston died unexpectedly Thursday, May 16, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 19, 1948, the daughter of William and Anita (Cormier) Charron.
She attended Lewiston schools and was a 1966 graduate of Lewiston High School. She began her career with New England Telephone Co. in 1967 as an operater and retired as a customer service representative with Verizon in 2008.
Following retirement, she enjoyed traveling and ocean cruises. She also enjoyed bowling and local hockey. She never missed a Lewiston Maineiac’s game. She also enjoyed knitting and making crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, whom she married Oct. 19, 1968, of Lewiston; one son, Kevin Gagnon and wife, Janice, of Lewiston; four brothers, Alphonse Charron and wife, Joanne, of York, Michael Charron and wife, Freida, of Williamsburg, Va., Daniel Charron and wife, Sue, of Lewiston and Mark Charron and wife, Terri, of Sabattus; and two grandchildren, Jasmine and Kelsey Gagnon.
