SUMNER — Nearly 200 people gathered at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood on April 6 to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Paul and Pauline Kirschner of Sumner.

A mock wedding was performed by the couple and family members, where renewal of their vows was held, with Marilyn Hammond officiating. A luncheon was served, which was prepared by family and friends. Everyone enjoyed music provided by a live band.
