LEWISTON-AUBURN — Art Walk Lewiston Auburn is looking for volunteers to become a part of the art walk movement. The first Art Walk is from 5-9 p.m. Friday, May 31.
There are many ways to get involved:
Exhibit Creation. Assist Art Walk staff in hanging art works in multiple locations. All work must be handled with care. Prior experience is a plus.
Pre-Event Set Up. Distribute sandwich boards, maps and volunteer brochures to all Art Walk locations as specified. Assist Art Walk staff with reception set up at gallery venues.
Gallery Host. Greet, assist and interact with Art Walk patrons, ensure safety of art work, direct to and assist with pay stations, and direct patrons to Art Walk promotional materials.
Performance Assistant. Assist Art Walk staff in set up of musical performances’ art installations, including set up of chairs, tents, tables, etc.
Break Down. Assist Art Walk staff in the break down after musical performances, and other Art Walk featured events.
Exhibit Removal. Assist staff in removal of work from Art Walk galleries. Strong attention to detail is a must.
