LEWISTON —   A funeral Mass honoring the life of Reginald A. Desrochers was celebrated on Tuesday, May 21, at Holy Family Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, Reginald’s sisters, Gilberte Beaule and Jeannine Bergeron, placed the pall on his casket, which commemorated their brother’s baptism into new life. The first reading was read by his nephew, Curt Jack. The prayer of the faithful was read by his nephew, Claude Bergeron. The offertory was brought to the altar by his grandchildren, Catherine and Jonah Desrochers. Following the committal services at the cemetery, words of remembrance were exressed by his Godson and nephew, Curt Jack, and also his son, Pierre Desrochers. Military honors from the U.S. Army played Taps and presented our country’s flag to his son, Pierre Desrochers. The pall bearers were Ron and Joel Beaule, Greg Bresnahan, Curt Jack, David Durette and Claude Bergeron. A reception of felowship was then held at Marco’s Restaraunt following the services at the cemetery. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
