AUBURN — The public is invited to participate in an afternoon of good fellowship with friends and spouses playing cards or table games from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in the Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St.

Relax and enjoy easy conversation while playing a favorite card or table game. This fundraiser will help to support the cultural and educational mission of the Woman’s Literary Union and to maintain and preserve the former home of Horatio and Ella Foss as a museum. Also every spring two high school seniors are the recipients of a $1,000 scholarship.

People wishing to attend must register prior to June 3 by calling Stephanie at 784-7709 or email [email protected] and bring their own playing cards and games.

Fee per person is $5 payable at the door. Light refreshments will be served.

Have you received a nice gift that you either can’t use or don’t like? Bring it with you and it can be used for one of the many door prizes. Weather permitting tables may be set up on the veranda.
