FARMINGTON — A story on the Franklin County Budget Committee published on Page B1 of the Franklin edition Friday should have said the committee approved Western Maine Community Action’s funding request of $40,000, one offered voluntarily by WMCA at a previous meeting. WMCA initially asked for $49,500 but reduced the request with the intention to raise the rest of the amount. It was a reporting error.
