BUCKFIELD — American Legion Post 58 will honor veterans on Memorial Day.

Organizer Ralph Hart said a parade will start at 9 a.m. Monday, May 27, at the Town Office. Buckfield Junior-Senior High School bands directed by Ethan Wright will play for the procession. The parade will proceed down Main Street to the Veterans’ Memorial at the Zadoc Long Free Library for a dedication.

Hart said the badly damaged flag at the memorial was repaired by Bob Perry and rehung Wednesday night.

The band and Legion members will be bused to Damon Cemetery for a service to remember veterans who died last year.
