RUMFORD POINT — Shawn Michael Marr and Blair Lindsey Grasruck announce their marriage, which took place Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Perennial Inn in Rumford Point.

The bride, dressed in a Victorian style gown, walked down the wide staircase and was met by her father, Peter Grasruck, and he escorted her to her bridegroom. The ceremony was officiated by Jody Smith, notary public and friend of the bride.

The couple enjoyed a candlelight dinner with champagne, appetizers and meal, followed by dessert cake, all served in round-table style with 23 people in attendance at the table.

Celebrating the happy occasion were the couple’s two sons, Wyatt and Connor Marr, along with the bride’s grandmother, Sophie Patten, her parents, Peter and Kristy Grasruck, their children, and the bride’s siblings and their partners. Also celebrating were the parents of the bridegroom, Frank and Rosalie Marr, his siblings and their partners and children.

Following the ceremony, the couple spent the night in the honeymoon suite at the Inn.
