For the first time in my 70-plus years, I am afraid of the federal government. The Obama administration has failed to take responsibility for the disaster in Benghazi, where four Americans died because of inadequate security for the embassy staff.

Attorney General Eric Holder failed to take responsibility for the failed “Fast and Furious” gun-running disaster, which resulted in one American Border Patrol agent and countless Mexican citizens being killed by American guns.

The Internal Revenue Service admits to illegally targeting and intimidating American citizens because they belonged to legal organizations which opposed Obama administration policies.

Now the Justice Department has been caught illegally confiscating telephone and e-mail records of Associated Press and Fox News reporters accused (but not proven guilty) of illegal activities related to investigating Obama administration actions or policies.

The real kicker is that the Obama administration took the brazen, in your face, step of appointing Sarah Hall Ingram (formerly in charge of the IRS agency that was illegally intimidating conservative groups) to the IRS agency in charge of determining whose health insurance policies conform to the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) requirements. That is putting the fox in the henhouse.

People better watch out. Who will be the next ones to receive “special scrutiny” by one or more government agency?
