PERU — A story about the town budget and election published on Page B2 of the River Valley edition Wednesday should have said Valerie Taylor, candidate for secretary to the Board of Selectmen, lives on High Street with her husband and two sons. She has been office manager for her husband’s business for many years and also worked for Motor Carrier Services of the Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles for five years  It was a reporting error.
