I have several concerns about the new zip-line business in Rumford. It always seems to be about the money. Whose pockets are going to be filled?

And why the big rush?

How many months of the year is the weather going to be suitable?

And why threaten the peace and quiet of the library by considering a sale of some of its land when everyone can use the library all year; all people, rich and poor.

Does anyone have any answers?

Edith Russell, Rumford

Editor’s note: Voters will consider several warrant articles at the annual town meeting on June 3 to sell portions of public land to zipline operators Envision Rumford.
