CANTON — Maudist T. Lisherness, 75, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, at the Victorian Villa Nursing Home.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1937, in Farmington, the daughter of John H. and Lettie (Neil) Tuttle Sr. She was educated in Farmington schools and later worked for Hannaford Bros. and as a bookkeeper in her husband’s business in Skowhegan.

Most recenty, Maud had attended the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church in Farmington.

She is survived by a sister, Lucille (Tuttle) Bailey of Lincolnville; two sisters-in-law, Marie (Doolin) Tuttle of Clermont, Fla., and Plastow, N.H., and Joyce (Pinkham) Tuttle of Nobleboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Alan, John Jr. and Dwight Tuttle; and a sister, Maxine (Tuttle) Weeks.
