FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Committee has announced the six recipients of the West Central Maine Health Careers Scholarship Program. The scholarships are presented to students residing in the Franklin Memorial Hospital service area who are pursuing careers in the health care field.

Each of the following will be awarded a $600 scholarship from the Auxiliary upon successful completion of their first semester. They include:

Krysta Brown of Farmington, who will attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent for nursing.

Heather Groder of Wilton, who will attend the University of Maine Augusta for nursing.

Catherine Grover of Jay, who attends CMMC School of Nursing and Health Professions for nursing.

Ayla Haines of Salem, who will attend Southern Maine Community College for nursing.

Gloria Reid of Strong, who attends CMMC School of Nursing and Health Professions for nursing.

Kelli Welch of New Sharon, who will attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent for nursing.
