STANDISH — The following students earned awards at Saint Joseph’s College.

Kiani Camire of Lewiston earned the Environmental Science Award, given to student for excellence in the study of environmental science.

Chelsea Dupal of Durham earned the Exercise Science Award, given to an outstanding graduating senior majoring in exercise science.

Courtney Hansen of Auburn earned the Senior Classics Award, given to a senior student for excellence in the study of the Classics.

Stevanie Roy of Lewiston earned the Sister Mary Joseph Bouchard Award, given to a senior, who, in addition to distinction in the biological sciences, has shown evidence of humanitarian service in contributing to the department by excellence in tutoring and student teaching.

Jaimee Thibodeau of Leeds earned the Sister Mary Delores Sablone Award, given to a senior in the communications program based on service, academic performance and promise for future professional attainment.

Katelyn Sumner of Bethel earned the First-Year Chemistry Award, which honors a student for outstanding achievement in the freshman chemistry program. Sumner is a pre-pharmacy major.

Susan Attianese of Naples earned the Department of Theology Award at Saint Joseph’s College, given to a student for excellence in the field of theology.Attianese also earned the Criminal Justice Department Award, given to a senior for excellence in the field of criminal justice.

Heather Aceto of Gray earned the Human Resource Management Award at Saint Joseph’s College, presented to the senior in the human resource management major with the highest cumulative grade point average. Aceto also earned the Management Award, given to the senior in the management major with the highest cumulative grade point average, as well as the Exceptional Achievement in Academic Community-Based Learning Award, recognizing a student who demonstrates outstanding participation, commitment and academic performance in service learning projects, particularly as they relate to personal and professional goals, perspectives and values.
