AUBURN — Alyssa Rouleau owned the plate, going 5-for-5 and driving in three runs, as Oak Hill held off stubborn Madison with a 12-8 victory to win the Mountain Valley Conference softball championship Friday at St. Dom’s Regional High School.
Oak Hill is in its first season in the MVC.
Rouleau doubled, tripled and had three singles. Winning pitcher Kortni Michaud was equally sharp at the plate with a triple, double and a pair of singles. She also drove in a run.
Catcher Brooke LeBell turned in a four-hit performance and Kelsey Collins tripled and singled.
The Raiders were down 7-6 after four innings before reeling off six runs in the sixth and seventh innings to stop the Bulldogs. Oak Hill used a 20-hit attack to subdue Madison.
For Madison, Kirsten Wood went 4-for-4 and Erika Parker doubled and singled twice.
