LEWISTON — Dorothy I. Chrissikos, 87, of Main Street, Mexico, passed away Sunday June 2, at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born in Haverhill, Mass., May 10, 1926, a daughter of John and Melvina (Giroux) Marchisio. Dot was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School.

She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and served as a lector and eucharistic minister. Dot was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and WOW’s.

She loved crocheting and reading and traveling. Dot loved spending time with her family and her quiet times with our Lord.

Surviving are her two sons, James Chrissikos and wife, Elaine, of Powhatan, Va., and John Chrissikos of Mexico; two brothers, Robert Marchisio and wife, Vi, of Bethel, Conn., and Gerald Marchisio and wife, Verna, of Dover, N.H.; three grandchildren, Jason Chrissikos, Nicole Gagnon and Matthew Chrissikos; and one great-grandson, Fox.
