BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Irene C. (Bazinet) Jackson, 65, formerly of Lewiston, died Saturday, June 1, in Brooksville, Fla.

She was born and raised in Lewiston and attended Holy Family Catholic Church. She later moved to Illinois, and to Florida, in 1998. She enjoyed crocheting and often donated her work to various charities.

She is survived by her two sons, Lee and Scott; three brothers, Richard and Roland Bazinet and Robert Poissonnier; four sisters, Constance Morin, Rolande Wing, Shirley Bourassa and Joan Poissonnier; and nine grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Terry; and her sister, Jeanne Bazinet.
