WINN (AP) — A body has been recovered from the rubble of a burned home in Winn and investigators believe it is the missing homeowner.

A spokesman for the state Public Safety Department said the Fire Marshal thinks the body recovered late Tuesday is that of Lisa Fogg.

An autopsy is scheduled to make a positive identification.

Firefighters responded to the log cabin-style home at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and found it fully engulfed, with flames shooting out the windows and through the roof.

A relative said Fogg had not left for work. Her husband had.

According to the district website, Fogg was on the board of directors for the school district that covers Winn, Springfield, Lee and Webster.

The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
