WATERFORD — On Friday, June 7, the community is invited to an evening of delicious Italian food and music at the Wilkins House on Plummer Hill in Waterford Flat. The meal, consisting of many different kinds of lasagna, salad, bread, dessert and beverage, will be served at 6 p.m. There will be seating for 80 people so come early to get a seat.

Following the dinner there will be a presentation of music under the direction of Katharine Fortuna, a music teacher at the elementary schools. Katie has invited performers from around New England who will be donating their time and talents to bring wonderful music to the community.

In addition to Fortuna, who sings soprano, will be Kay Leslie, piano; Alexandria Tichy, flute; and Allison DuBois, violin.

Suggested donation is $7, with children under 6 admitted free. All proceeds from this event, sponsored by the Waterford Congregational Church, will benefit the Waterford Emergency Fuel Fund. This emergency fuel fund has benefited many Waterford resident during the heating season and is in need of replenishment.

Anyone unable to attend who would like to contribute to the fuel fund may make out a check to the Waterford Congregational Church, PO Box 59, Waterford ME 04088. Note in the lower left corner “Waterford Emergency Fuel Fund.”
